What help is available in a crisis?

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde Mental Health Services Crisis Service – Telephone 0845 650 1730

The NHS now runs an 'out of hours' crisis service. The service can provide short-term intensive community based care as an alternative to hospital admission. This service is targeted at people who are experiencing a mental health crisis and operates seven days a week.

The Crisis Service is available:

  • Monday to Friday 20:00 - 09:00
  • Also weekends and public holidays 17:00 - 09:00
