Careline Home Support provide full housing support services working together as part of a team to provide home care service enabling an independent lifestyle in your own home.

Services we provide:

  • personal care
  • assistance to get up in the morning and tuck in service
  • overnight support
  • medication support
  • food preparation (home cooked meals)
  • shopping (clients can go out with their support worker if they wish)
  • housework
  • companionship

Services provided within your own home enabling independence and specially tailored to meet individual needs. Needs which are met by friendly well trained support staff fully reflecting the National Care Standards.

Client groups

We are registered to provide a service for the following groups:
  • Older people
  • People with Dementia
  • Adults with mental health problems
  • Adults with learning disabilities
  • Adults with terminal illness
  • Adults who are ill (other than a terminal illness)
  • Adults who are recovering from illness
  • Children and Families (including respite support for Carers)
  • People with Autism
  • People with Epilepsy
  • People with a sensory impairment
  • You can use Careline services for just a few hours a week or several hours every day up to 24-hour care.
We support you to live in your own home.  We will help you to be independent and have more choice about how you live.

We believe that everyone has the right to live how they want.  If you want to try new hobbies and activities, we can help you find what is available.  If you want to get more involved in your community, we can support you to get out and about.  Careline Services has very high professional standards. We make sure our staff are well-trained and all are Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme members or have Enhanced Disclosure Scotland checks.

We make sure that all service users feel safe and we respect your privacy.  We listen to what you want and what you say about our service.

Mental health
Careline offer a range of support services to people who are experiencing mental health difficulties or have experienced a life crisis which is affecting their ability to function as they would normally.  Our services can support them to manage their lifestyles, reduce social exclusion, access educational opportunities and integrate with friends, neighbours and the community with recovery being the key

Our staff team understand how choosing a care Provider is one of the most important decisions you can make.  You want someone who is caring, knowledgeable, and accessible.  Someone willing to take the time to go over all of your options and treat you as a person, not just a name.  

Services we provide

Personal Care

Personal Hygiene: Bathing, showering, hair washing, shaving, oral hygiene, nail care (not cutting), make up.

Continence Management: Toileting, catheter/stoma care, skin care, incontinence laundry, bed changing

Food and Diet: Assistance with the preparation of food and assistance with the fulfilment of special dietary needs, our care staff will cook a home cooked meal if preferred.

Simple Treatments: Assistance with medication (including eye drops), application of creams and lotions, simple dressings, oxygen therapy

Personal Assistance: Assistance with dressing, surgical appliances, prostheses, mechanical and manual aids.  Assistance to get up and to go to bed.  Transfers including the use of a hoist

Support: Psychological support, Befriending, (company for a chat and a cup of tea), access shops and outings or activities, pension collection, general assistance around your home.

Domestic: Light housework, hoovering, dusting, brush and mop floors, clean kitchen, and bathroom, washing and ironing (we do not climb ladders or clean out of reach)

Careline Home Support offers a wide range of high quality services working with other professionals and concerned carers within your own home and out in the community.  We support people to access activities out in the community from socialising to outings to shops,

pension collection, doctor/hospital appointments etc.

Our services enable people to live at home, providing personal care and practical support which allows older people and people with disabilities to remain in their own homes for as long as possible.
