We are a small social care organisation run as a social enterprise based in Castlemilk in Glasgow. The focus of our work is finding creative solutions to support people with learning disabilities to overcome the barriers which prevent them from being part of their local communities. Fair Deal believes that everyone is a citizen but that some people are prevented from enjoying all that this brings by the attitudes, prejudice and behaviour of others.
We see it as our social responsibility to support people with learning disabilities who are often excluded in this way, to have a full and unique life, enjoying all that comes with being an active citizen.
We provide supported living options, care at home, social and leisure opportunities, day opportunities, short breaks and volunteering opportunities. If you have an individual budget we can help you to get the most out of your money and tailor your support to your specific needs and to meet the outcomes in your support plan.
We support Laura. Why not listen to what she says about her support and how she has benefited
Fair Deal provides support to people at a time that suits them most. Some people need 24 hour support, 7 days a week and others need less. We can provide the amount of support you need, when you need it. It is our aim to support people to be as independent as they possibly can be and we balance this with being vigilant about risk.
