Every day across Scotland Cornerstone provides care and support services for adults, children and young people with disabilities and other support needs.
Since being founded in 1980, we now provide a range of services including supported living, community support, mental health services, domiciliary care, respite services, children’s play schemes and transition services for young people.
Our highly trained, professional staff believe in the potential of every person we support and have the expertise and experience to enable the people we support to enjoy a valued life.

Cornerstone’s Glasgow services were established in 2000 to provide support to individuals in their own homes. We now provide support to over 150 individuals and
employ almost 80 people who are committed to improving the lives of others.
Our services are designed to be flexible to meet the individual needs of the people we support, maximising their independence and supporting them to build relationships and maintain social networks. Our services include:
Supported Living services providing support to individuals within their own home. The level of support is based on the individual’s personal support needs which can range from a few hours a day to 24 hour care.
Our Self Directed Support Service can provide information, advice and support to manage a direct payment or Individual budget. We can support individuals to fulfil their obligations as an employer if you they want to employ Personal Assistants directly or support them to engage with a provider.
All our services are person-centred and tailored to meet the needs of each individual, and include information on Self Directed Support and Direct Payments support to play a key role in the assessment of need.
Help to produce a personal care plan, complete forms and keep the necessary records.
Assistance with setting up a bank account to manage the Direct Payments.
Advice on the responsibilities of being an employer including assistance with the recruitment of Personal Assistants.
Access to Employment law and Payroll Services Day Opportunities include walking groups, massage, music therapy, arts and crafts and group activities.
Community Support is tailored to each individual and ranges from help with personal care and preparing meals to assistance with budgeting and social support to enjoy recreational activities.
We also provide short break opportunities and befriending services to older people we support living in Glasgow, encouraging independence and interaction within the community.
Cornerstone actively encourages the people we support to contribute to the way we deliver their services. We have established a network of local TASK Groups across Scotland made up of people we support.

Gardening, walking group lunch club, fun activities, music therapy, pampering head hand massage, jewelry making crafts, cinema, Service users choose.
