Accommodating up to 35 service users every day, seven days a week, throughout the year Birdston Day Care Centre provides a range of care needs for clients with restricted mobility and mild/moderate dementia and for those just looking for some purpose to their day, offering carers and family with some well earned respite. Escorted transport is provided to and from the centre on our Pacific Care minibus.
Birdston Day Care Centre has a number of different areas where clients can spend their day… being pampered at the hair salon, playing pool, relaxing in the Snoezelen Therapy room, doing research in the computer room, or getting crafty in the conservatory area.
We have a welcoming reception, main function room and a games room where clients can spend time enjoying the company of others. In addition, there are a number of adapted toilets and shower facilities.
