The Central Parenting Team is an interagency funded team which has responsibility for all parenting activity and performance management of the Parenting Support Framework within Glasgow City. The Triple P Positive Parenting System is the evidence based programme within this framework and provides a range of parenting support options to parents and carers of children aged between 0-16 years of age.
Our aims:
  • To provide central co-ordination of the trained workforce to ensure that parenting support interventions can be handled timeously and appropriately.
  • To build individual pathways for parenting interventions around the single and multi-agency frameworks.
  • To provide a robust, seamless parenting support service which is accessible and sustainable to meet all needs.
  • To reach the target of 60% of families within the Glasgow City area accessing parenting support including those with the most vulnerable children within hard to reach groups.
