Older people's mental health team
The Older People’s Mental Health Team provides care for people who have one of the following types of illness: dementia or memory loss; clinical depression, extreme stress or anxiety; obsessions or phobias; or mental health problems which seriously affect daily living. The service is for people over 65, but the team see people of any age suffering from memory loss or dementia.
Patients can be referred by a GP, Social Worker or District Nurse. Relatives or carers may also contact the service directly.
