All children and young people have the right to feel safe and be protected. It is every adult's responsibility to keep children safe from harm. This means not only parents and professionals, but family members, neighbours and members of the public.
Glasgow Child Protection Committee
Glasgow Child Protection Committee (CPC) is the main strategic planning mechanism for inter-agency child protection work in Glasgow. It is responsible for ensuring that agencies respond in a co-ordinated way to the identification of, response to, and prevention of, child abuse.
Child Protection leaflets for children called Keeping You Safe have been produced in consultation with children and can be used when working with children who are involved in the protection process.
- Keeping You Safe - Child Protection for Children
- What is a Child Protection case Conference?
- What is the Child Protection Register?
The leaflet and information sheets are available to download.
